HATHA is the yoga of energy balance.  It is part of the living tradition of Yoga and one of its many forms.

The tools of Hatha Yoga are physical movement, held postures, breathwork, concentration exercises, mantra, visualisation, meditation, relaxation and more.... 

WHO CAN BEFEFIT?

These classes will suit beginners and experienced "yogis" of all ages (over 16 years) in average good health.

 

A TYPICAL CLASS INCLUDES –

Warm ups – Co-ordinated breathing & gentle movements

Asana - Held postures, to stretch and strengthen the body 

Pranayama – Controlled breathing exercises

Pratyahara – Deep relaxation

Dharana - Concentration exercises & Visualisation

Dhyana – Sitting quietly in meditation

Mantra – Voicework/chanting
