Over time and with consistent practice, Gentle Yoga can promote health and well-being, enabling us to enjoy life more.

WHO CAN BENEFIT?

This approach is particularly suited to the “Over 60s” or anyone whose health necessitates a gentle approach.

Typically those who want to maintain joint mobility and muscular tone with careful movements and sensitive stretching.

Existing students include people with restricted movements, whether age-related or due to living with a health problem.

 

A TYPICAL CLASS INCLUDES - 

Movements and stretches performed while sitting in chairs.

Standing postures are included for those who are able.

Some movements are done on the floor for those who can manage to lie down and get up.

Time for deep relaxation.
